Privacy Policy

Who we are

SoulPath is operated by CTR Ventures Inc. (“CTR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company reachable at ctr.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the SoulPath application and related services.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to generate your Purpose Blueprint:

  • Birth data: Date, time (optional), and location of birth. Used to compute your astrological, numerological, and Human Design framework results. Never shared with third parties.
  • Quiz responses: Your answers to behavioral questions. Used to determine your Enneagram type, Spiral Dynamics level, and instinctual patterns. Stored anonymously by session ID.
  • Email address: Collected only if you choose to save your results. Used to send you a link to your blueprint. Never sold, never used for marketing unless you opt in.
  • Preferred name and gender: Used to personalize your reading. Stored with your session, not linked to any external identity.
  • Analytics: Anonymous usage data (page views, session duration, feature engagement) via PostHog. No personally identifiable information is sent to analytics.

How we use your data

  • To generate your personalized Purpose Blueprint and alignment scores
  • To send you a link to your results (if you provide your email)
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of our frameworks and AI synthesis
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns (never individual behavior)

AI processing

Your quiz responses and framework results are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your personalized reading. This data is sent securely over HTTPS. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training. Your reading is generated in real time, cached for your session, and not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request lifecycle.

Data storage and security

  • All data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on Railway (US regions)
  • Session data is cached in Redis with automatic expiration
  • All connections use TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit
  • We do not store passwords because we do not have accounts
  • Birth data and quiz responses are linked only to anonymous session IDs

Data retention

Session data (quiz responses, framework results, generated readings) is retained for 12 months to allow you to return to your results. After 12 months of inactivity, session data is automatically deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing privacy@ctr.com.

Third parties

We share data with the following services, strictly for functionality:

  • Anthropic (Claude API): Framework results sent for reading generation. Not used for training.
  • Railway: Infrastructure hosting for database and application servers.
  • PostHog: Anonymous product analytics. No PII transmitted.
  • Google Places API: Birth location autocomplete. Only the location query is sent; no other personal data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.

Cookies

SoulPath uses only essential cookies for session management. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. PostHog uses a first-party cookie for anonymous analytics that does not track you across other websites.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ctr.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

SoulPath is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact privacy@ctr.com and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the application. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
