Enneagram
Every person has a core fear and a core desire driving their behavior. The Enneagram names yours.
Why it matters
Every person is running on a core fear and a core desire that they did not choose. One person fears being worthless, so they achieve compulsively. Another fears being abandoned, so they make themselves indispensable to everyone around them. Another fears losing control, so they dominate every room they walk into. The Enneagram names these drivers.
This is not a personality quiz that tells you whether you are an introvert or a "blue" personality. The Enneagram maps the unconscious motivation underneath your behavior. Two people can do the exact same thing for completely different reasons. The Enneagram cares about the reason, not the action.
There are 9 core patterns. One of them has been running your life since childhood. It shaped how you relate to people, how you handle conflict, what you chase, what you avoid, and what triggers you. Most people have never named it. Once you do, you cannot unsee it.
What it actually does
We surface your Enneagram type through situational questions. Not "are you a perfectionist" questions. We put you in a scenario and watch which instinct kicks in. Do you move toward people, away from people, or against people? Do you lead with your head, your heart, or your gut? Your pattern of responses reveals your type.
Beyond your core type, we identify which instinctual drive dominates your life: self-preservation (security, comfort, health), one-to-one intensity (deep connection, chemistry, passion), or social bonding (belonging, status, group dynamics). This changes everything. Two people with the same core type but different instincts look nothing alike.
The questions are adaptive. They start broad and narrow based on your answers. The system is looking for your unconscious pattern, not your conscious self-image. What you do without thinking about it matters more than what you believe about yourself.
What you learn about yourself
The autopilot loop you have been running your entire life. The thing you do without deciding to do it. Some people automatically scan for what could go wrong. Others automatically perform for approval. Others automatically withdraw to conserve energy. Your loop is so familiar you do not notice it. Everyone else does.
Why your relationships follow the same pattern. The Enneagram shows you what you unconsciously seek from other people and what you unconsciously do that pushes them away. It is not that you keep choosing the wrong people. It is that your core fear creates the same dynamic no matter who the other person is.
Where your personality is a cage. The Enneagram is the framework that makes people uncomfortable because it does not flatter you. It tells you the truth about the pattern you have mistaken for your identity. The loop is not who you are. It is what you do when you are on autopilot. Knowing the difference is freedom.
How we use it in your blueprint
SoulPath uses your Enneagram type as the behavioral engine of your reading. It is the framework that most directly names your patterns, your defenses, and the relational dynamics that keep repeating.
When your Enneagram pattern lines up with what your astrology chart and Human Design say about you, the picture becomes undeniable. When they contradict, that tension is usually the most important thing in the entire reading. It means part of you is fighting another part of you. We name both sides.
